What’s included in a school camp
Every school camp at Sunnystones comes with everything your students need for the stay — the whole property, accommodation, meals, and every activity led by our instructors. There are no extra costs once you’re here.
Every camp includes
- Exclusive use of the whole 50-acre property, beside the Long Forest Nature Conservation Reserve — no other groups on site.
- Accommodation in nine dormitories inside our stone homestead, with bathrooms under the same roof. Every bed is made up with a fitted sheet and a pillow with a pillowcase.
- All meals and snacks, cooked on site by our own chef and kitchen team: breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and dessert. Allergen-free, vegetarian, vegan and halal meals cost nothing extra. On day 1, students bring their own morning tea and lunch for the walk-in.
- Every activity led by our instructors, with all equipment provided — archery, canoeing, low ropes, the bouldering wall, bush hut building, geocaching and more.
- A program tailored to your group, year level and length of stay.
- An online portal to upload and track student information, and the planning documents your school council needs.
- Teachers free, at a ratio of one teacher to every ten students.

Campouts
Tents and self-inflating mats are provided. Depending on the age of your students, we build tent set-up into the program.

Day trips
Day trips can be booked with or without meals — activities only, with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, or staying on for dinner.
What students bring
A sleeping bag, doona or blanket, a fitted single sheet, a small towel and toiletries, a reusable water bottle, a hat, a raincoat and warm layers. A pillowcase is optional. Schools organise their own bus; we recommend Christian’s Bus Company in Bacchus Marsh.
How pricing works
Camp pricing is per student and depends on the length of your stay. Prices include GST, all meals and every activity. Minimum group sizes vary with the time of year and how far ahead you book, so let us know your dates and numbers and we’ll tell you what’s possible.
A 25% deposit secures your booking, and the balance is due seven days after camp.
A tailored quote within one business day
Tell us your year level, approximate numbers and preferred dates, and we’ll send you a tailored quote within one business day.
